An employee of Amway Canada Corporation for more than 20 years, Carmela Ianni is responsible for the Public Relations portfolio, both nationally and locally. Carmela has been instrumental in orchestrating and leveraging sponsorships – most recently with the Canadian Soccer Association – helping to create awareness and favorability around the Amway business opportunity and its key power brands: Nutrilite, Artistry, and XS. On a local level, she works both corporately and personally with many NGOs and local organizations, including the City of London’s Clean and Green, and Junior Achievement, among others.
From a philanthropic perspective, Carmela manages Amway’s One by One Campaign for Children, including a long-standing partnership with Easter Seals Canada and its Drop Zone fundraising events. Working closely with an employee fundraising team, she is also Amway Canada’s United Way campaign coordinator.
Carmela is a long-time supporter of the Canadian DSA, having served on several conference committees as well as providing behind-the-scenes support to Amway management for other, varied DSA portfolios. Bringing her 21 years of direct selling experience and her unbridled energy, Carmela is looking forward to making a solid contribution in support of the initiatives of the DSEF.
