The DSA is devoted to preserving the integrity of the direct selling industry in Canada – whether working on behalf of member firms to address issues of importance, providing member companies and their ISCs with support through the DSA Rewards products, educating the public on the benefits of direct selling, or ensuring consumer protection by enforcing the high standards set out in the Codes.
The World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) is a global association of more than 50 national direct sales associations, including the Direct Sellers Association of Canada
The DSA's highest recognition, the award is named in honour of the late Ivan Phelan, a longtime executive at Avon Canada who was instrumental in establishing and guiding the Association for more than three decades. The DSA Mark of Distinction award recognizes an ISC who upholds the values of trust and integrity which are so vital our industry, as well as being a leader who inspires others to achieve their utmost potential.
Similar to the path of a new recruit, young companies must be nurtured and mentored in order to be successful. It is important to begin the journey to success with a solid foundation and strong principles that will serve as building blocks to ensure success in the Canadian market place.
While these young companies may not have unique programs in place that rise to the level of those recognized by other awards, many smaller companies have great stories to tell.
