Date: 12 Aug, 2019

Toronto, ON – The Direct Sellers Association (DSA) of Canada recently announced the recipients of their 2019 DSA Awards during their annual conference in Vancouver, British Columbia. The DSA Awards honour and recognize organizations and individuals for their outstanding contributions to the direct selling industry in Canada.

Included amongst the winners is Rena Nong Ren, a long-time USANA Health Sciences independent sales director from Burnaby, who took home the Mark of Distinction Award. This award recognizes an independent salesperson who upholds the values of trust and integrity, which are so vital to the direct selling industry, as well as being a leader who inspires others to achieve their utmost potential.

“It is our mission to foster excellence, integrity, a healthy lifestyle and a great sense of community amongst our associates”, said Carolyn Lee, General Manager of USANA Health Sciences, Canada. “Rena is creating a legacy within the USANA community and her initiatives propagate beyond our company’s borders, into the direct selling industry. We are proud to see how she has made a positive impact in the lives of others.”

For over ten years, along with her husband Perry, Rena has invested her time in building a strong sales team and has shown incredible commitment to supporting their business and personal development. She organizes and attends multiple training meetings every month, which focus on important business topics, such as public-speaking, building presentations and following ethical business practices.

Giving back is one of Rena’s core values. She volunteers for service trips, usually at her own expense, and regularly donates to the USANA True Health Foundation charity.

“All the recipients of our awards are true champions of Canada’s direct selling industry,” said Peter Maddox, President of the DSA. “In particular, Rena has helped to enrich the lives of many Canadians through her dedication and passion. We are inspired as an industry by her many accomplishments.”
