Congratulations to our 2023 ISC Award recipients!

On September 20 – Direct Sellers Day – we celebrated our industry’s star performers at our second annual independent sales consultant (ISC) Awards in Toronto.

The ISC Awards honour and recognize individuals for their outstanding contributions to the direct selling industry in Canada.

The event was co-hosted by Marcia Cota from MONAT Global Canada and Isabelle Bossé from Mary Kay Cosmetics. Nearly 100 individuals from across Canada were in attendance, which included finalists, their family, friends and corporate colleagues.

In addition to the award presentations, the event also featured four outstanding speakers – Elisa Graci of USANA Health Sciences, Sariane Fortin of Mary Kay, Denise Ouellette of Tocara, and Camilla Eves of Arbonne International Canada – who shared their empowering direct selling stories.

“This is the second year we’ve celebrated the achievements of our independent sales consultants on Direct Sellers Day, and it continues to be such a joyous and momentous occasion,” said Peter Maddox, President of the DSA. “This year’s award recipients are extraordinary individuals who embody the energy, tenacity, integrity and resiliency of our industry.”

Independent sales consultants from four DSA Canada member companies, Arbonne International Canada, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Tocara and MONAT Global Canada, took home the following four awards:

• Mark of Distinction Award – Camilla Eves of Arbonne International Canada.
  As a lifetime achievement award, the Mark of Distinction award recognizes an independent sales consultant (ISC), with over five years of experience, who has made consistent outstanding contributions to the success of their team and company. They uphold the values of trust and integrity, which are so vital to our industry, as well as being a leader who inspires others to achieve their utmost potential.
• Rising Star Award – Carine Goyer of Tocara Inc.
  This award recognizes an emerging ISC who exhibits tremendous potential within their first five years of involvement. They have recorded demonstrable growth in the direct selling industry, and have positively impacted their team and company.
• Community Spirit Award – France Grenier of Mary Kay Cosmetics.
  This award honours an ISC whose charitable and community service efforts have made a profound difference in the lives of others.
• Direct Seller of the Year Award – Wendy Castillo Varela of MONAT Global Canada.
  This award honours an ISC who has made an outstanding contribution to the success of their company and team during the past year. They have demonstrated this through an innovative initiative or program that contributed to sales success and positive industry awareness.
